This website aims to provide anhighlights insightof intointernational research in organic and medicinal chemistrychemistry. fromThe internationaltarget researchaudience groups.are I'dstudents likeand professionals who are fascinated by the art of total synthesis and drug development. Furthermore, the pages integrate small exercises to providechallenge the own knowledge and to refresh the memory on chemical reactions. Each page discusses a publication and provides a short but informative extracts on recent advances in total synthesis, catalysis, organocatalysis, medicinal chemistry and organic chemistry in general.

TwoFor now two different books are currently available. The first book discusses total syntheses which has been published in the recent years. In recent years, C-H functionalisation has made huge advances through the research of, for example, Ryan Shenvi. Therefore, many recent total syntheses discuss terpene synthesis.

The second book discusses the synthetic routes of nucleoside analogsanalogues. It will also cover concepts in the synthesis of antiviral and anticancer drug candidates, pharmacokinetics and recent advances in nucleoside analogues.
